Customer Service Specialist answer incoming calls and electronic request, professionally and enthusiastically, from patients, family members to aid in register new patients, scheduling healthcare appointments, answer questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems.
JOB DUTIES:
Ensures accurate, compliant and timely registration of new patients to ensure optimal service
Identifies and resolves discrepancies or missing information and accurately enters data into the system.
Verifies insurance coverage or determines patient self-pay responsibility and provides cost information.
Schedules appointments based on need, patient request and in accordance with guidelines.
Interprets physician orders to schedule appointments and ancillary tests.
Identifies emergent patient situations based on caller information and coordinates triage
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
Excellent data entry, numeric, typing and computer navigational skills (Mandatory Skills Testing)
Experience in a call center, customer service and/or healthcare setting
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of call center telephony and technology (Mandatory Skills Testing)
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
2
years minimum experience required.
H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
Must pass paid training program and successfully complete competency exam to maintain position.
Hours: Monday-Friday Flexible Start
Candidates must be able to work Full Time for Traning
Pay Rate:All Candidates Start $10.50 /Hour Opportunity for increase after 3 Months of Employment
