Centex Machine by Fathom is looking for an outstanding Milling machinist candidate for our 2nd shift to continue to grow and expand our business.
CNC Mill Machinist Key
Responsibilities:
- Setup and Operation of CNC Milling machine centers
- MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using G-code editing
- Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
- Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
- Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
- Observe all company quality and safety procedures
- Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
- Participates in Lean manufacturing events
CNC Mill Machinist Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have an Associate degree in a relevant field or (3+) years of experience
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Great communication skills
- Mazak conversational programming and operation a plus
- Knowledge of tooling and tooling requirements
- Must read and write English
