This position focuses on coordinating and leading programs and events for adults and the 50
population.
Posted pay range is the starting salary.
Pay rate offered is based on experience.
Examples of Duties Responsible for assigned program's staffing to include interviewing, hiring, and training.
Screens outside companies and vendors to coordinate programs for the assigned programs.
Responsible for establishing program schedules as well as promoting and advertising the assigned programs.
Oversees the procurement of supplies, set-up and clean-up, and volunteer recruitment for special events.
Completes administrative duties by creating, distributing and collecting program evaluations; generates revenue reports; creates flyers for programs and events; maintains registration and seasonal program paperwork; collects program information.
Assists with the creation and maintenance of the assigned program's budget.
Stays abreast of new trends as it relates to recreational program planning and coordination.
Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Experience and Training Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college from an accredited college/university.
One (1) year of experience in recreational program coordination activities (specialty areas can include but are not limited to - athletics, aquatics, camps, afterschool, seniors, and therapeutic.
Certificates and Licenses Required Must possess CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
